Part-time Adjunct Faculty

Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the division Dean. An adjunct faculty position requires professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage large groups of people with complicated material. They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (Canvas) and respond to email.

Areas of instruction needed beginning Fall 2024

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Education Required: Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Experience Required: 4,000 hours of work-related experience in the field

Preferred:
Current LCSW or LSW and/or Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IAODAPCA) certification.
Two years teaching experience at the community college level.
