GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Director, Cape Cod Regional STEM Network, the STEM Program Coordinator will coordinate programs and provide administrative support for STEM.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  • Coordinate programs and provide administrative support for STEM.
  • Coordinate STEM events and outreach.
  • Create marketing, social media, and website content.
  • Assist with budgets, manage data collection, tracking, and documentation.
  • Coordinate projects with campus offices and community partner organizations.
  • Perform other clerical and technical duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience with project/program management, event coordinating, administrative work in an academic environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent interpersonal, research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Accurate and precise in work habits, paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with faculty, staff, and the public.
  • Ability to work Saturday, as needed.

Additional Information:


COMPENSATION
: $32 per hour, up to 18 hours per week with Monday - Saturday hours, as needed. Part-time, non-benefited and grant funded MCCC Unit Position.
