Instructor of Finance
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate level courses in finance and other areas as needed, including those delivered through distance education.
- Work with students in field-based settings and/or case competitions.
- Participate in accreditation and program assessment activities as needed
- Participate in collaborative relationships with partnership schools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution, with an emphasis on finance or a related field as evidenced by transcripts.
- Demonstrated ability for course instruction at the university level within the last five years.
Desirable Qualifications
- Doctorate degree from an accredited institution, with an emphasis in finance or a related field as evidenced by transcripts.
- Experience and expertise in teaching finance courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels.
- Experience in teaching through distance leaming/online courses.
- Evidence of past and current research activities that provide insights and applications that enhance student learning in a classroom setting.
