Program Director – Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)

Do you like to teach, train, and assist staff to be the best they can be? Ensure that residential programs are developed that promote independence? Ensure that services are coordinated through a team process that is responsive to the needs of the individuals supported?

As a Program Director of Intermediate Care Facilities, you get to provide support and guidance to individuals with developmental and Intellectual disabilities as well as getting to train others to assist these individuals to develop and maintain appropriate skills and cooperative interaction within the community.

Ensures a high quality of program services:

  • Ensures the rights of individuals are well established and maintained at all times.
  • Ensures all aspects of program development, implementation and monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations, including Licensure, Medicaid, etc.

Reviews and monitors program documentation including monthly/quarterly summaries, observations, ODDPs, PAWs, ISPs, UIRs, billing documentation, service documentation, Medication Administration Records, bi-annual MUI Analysis Reporting and all other MUI reporting requirements, etc. in compliance with funding source requirements.

Supervises and trains supervisory staff:

  • Provides ongoing feedback to staff while fostering independence and staff development.
  • Completes or monitors completion of all Client Status Change Forms when a client has a change in status such as: Discharge, Admission, Hospitalization, Convalescent stay at Nursing Facility, etc.

What we are needing from you:

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
  • Experience supervising employees
  • Valid driver’s license with 5 or fewer points, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • (Preferred) B.S. /B.A. in Psychology, education, special education, business or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • On call

  • Are you someone who can follow routine, knowing that you may have to do the same things at the same time on most days, but are flexible enough to adjust to interruption to those said routines?

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
