Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College's Nursing Department seeks to increase its pool of part-time adjunct clinical faculty.� Opportunities are available for 6 - 12 hours a week on weekdays and/or weekends.� These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are on-going recruitment efforts.� Applicants are contracted/hired based on program needs which vary by semester and nursing specialty content.

The Adjunct Clinical Nursing Faculty member will supervise and evaluate the student's performance of nursing activities in the clinical setting to assure safe practice.� Adjunct faculty will collaborate with full-time faculty to review student progress in meeting clinical objectives and provide direct feedback to the students regarding clinical performance.

Requirements:

A Master's Degree is required or candidate must be currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program.

New York State Registered Nursing license required with recent clinical experience.

Clinical and/or teaching experience at the community college level is highly desired.

Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
