Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Accounting, beginning Fall 2023
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking applicants for a Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor in Accounting for Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Terms.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Accounting or an MBA, CPA preferred, with an emphasis on accounting practice and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Applicants must be qualified to teach Federal Income and Corporate Taxes, Strategic Cost Management, Auditing, and Advanced Accounting. Tax Experience and Advanced Certification from the IRS are highly preferred. Additionally, we seek candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service. We especially encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups in the field.
Responsibilities: Effective instructional methods, pedagogy, and lesson plans, collaborating with faculty/chair on curriculum development and implementation. Candidates experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
